The story is very simple. I am a big fan of the Pomodoro method as an approach to help one focus. Everyone has different styles, this is the one that works for me.
However, the existing apps all appear to be focused on growing a subscription user base or building advertising revenue. Neither of which appeal to me, so I created Only Pomo.
The goal? A simple Pomodoro timer that follows the unix philosophy of do one thing and do it well. No accounts, no tracking, no gamefication, no advertising, no follow up emails with productivity tips to encourage you to buy another app or subscription.
